A lawsuit has been filed in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York by Danis Manuel Rivera Umanzor against Stonebridge Golf Links & Country Club, LLC, Brentwood Golf and Country Club, Inc., Lessing’s Inc., and Steven M. Kirschbaum. The plaintiff alleges violations of federal and state wage laws during his employment as a cook from October 2021 to September 2025. The complaint highlights failure to pay overtime wages, lack of proper wage notices, and inaccurate wage statements. Rivera Umanzor seeks compensatory damages, liquidated damages, interest, attorneys’ fees, and other legal remedies.
