The U.S. Bankruptcy Court announced on Mar. 23 that its ECF/PACER system will be unavailable for both queries and filings from 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, until service is expected to resume by 7:00 a.m. on Monday, June 22, due to a planned system upgrade.

The temporary disruption affects attorneys and the public who rely on the Electronic Case Filing (ECF) and Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) systems for accessing court documents or submitting filings electronically.

During this period of unavailability, individuals needing to submit papers are advised to consult Local Bankruptcy Rule 5001-2 for guidance regarding after-hours filing procedures. The court said it apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the interruption in service.

The ECF/PACER systems are essential tools used nationwide in federal courts, allowing users efficient access to case information and electronic document submission. Scheduled maintenance such as this is necessary to ensure continued reliability and security of these services.

Further updates or instructions may be provided by the court if there are changes in the upgrade schedule or additional impacts related to the outage.
