A Jamestown woman has been arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, according to an announcement from U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo. Micayla L. Blair, 23, faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $1,000,000 fine if convicted.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Joshua A. Violanti said that investigators executed a search warrant on October 30, 2025, at a William Street residence associated with Blair. During the search, authorities found suspected crystal methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a pistol.

Blair appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael J. Roemer and was detained following her initial court appearance.

The investigation involved the Jamestown Police Department led by Chief Timothy Jackson, the Drug Enforcement Administration’s New York Field Division under Special Agent-in-Charge Frank A. Tarentino III, and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office headed by Sheriff James Quattrone.

“The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.”
