Caitlyn Wilder has taken legal action against her former employer, alleging wrongful termination due to pregnancy discrimination. The complaint was filed on November 21, 2025, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York by her attorneys at Filippatos PLLC against Skywire, LLC, doing business as Gigstreem.

The case revolves around allegations that Gigstreem unlawfully discriminated against Caitlyn Wilder based on her gender and perceived disability related to her pregnancy. Wilder claims that after disclosing her pregnancy to her supervisor in April 2024, she experienced a shift in workplace dynamics leading to her unjust termination. She asserts that despite having no prior performance issues and being praised for her work ethic and leadership skills, she was terminated shortly after informing the company’s HR department about her pregnancy and requesting information on maternity leave policies. The complaint accuses Gigstreem of violating several laws including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and both New York State and City Human Rights Laws.

Wilder’s lawsuit seeks various forms of relief from the court. She is asking for declaratory judgment stating that Gigstreem’s actions were unlawful under federal and state laws. Additionally, she seeks injunctive relief to prevent further discriminatory practices by the company. In terms of damages, Wilder is pursuing compensation for economic losses such as lost wages and benefits, as well as non-economic damages like emotional distress. She also requests punitive damages due to what she describes as malicious conduct by Gigstreem.

Representing Caitlyn Wilder are attorneys Erica T. Healey-Kagan and Daniel J. Chavez from Filippatos PLLC. The case has been assigned Case No.: 25-cv-9717 in front of a jury trial demanded by the plaintiff.
