In a gripping legal battle that could reshape the landscape of reality television, a former cast member of a popular reality TV show has filed a lawsuit against the production companies behind the series. The complaint was lodged by Brittany Eady in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on November 20, 2025, targeting Truly Original, LLC and Bravo Media LLC. Eady accuses these entities of grotesque sexual harassment and retaliation during her time on Season 16 of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

The saga began in June 2024 when Eady became embroiled in an ugly incident involving another castmate, Kenya Moore. During a public event filmed for the show, Moore allegedly displayed a graphic photograph purportedly depicting Eady engaged in a sexual act. Although it was later revealed that the image did not actually depict Eady, she claims to have been unaware of this fact until nearly a year later. The incident was characterized as “revenge porn,” an act that has garnered significant legal attention across various jurisdictions including Georgia and New York.

Eady’s complaint outlines how she reported Moore’s actions to the producers immediately after the event. Despite conducting an internal investigation and suspending Moore from filming, the defendants allegedly pressured Eady into discussing her sexual history on camera under threat of reduced screen time and potential loss of income. The lawsuit further alleges that Defendants manipulated footage to imply Eady’s involvement in explicit acts and failed to protect her from ongoing harassment by other cast members.

Seeking justice for what she describes as horrific behavior by the defendants, Eady is pursuing claims under laws prohibiting sexual harassment, retaliation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, breach of contract, and negligence. She is asking for damages exceeding $75,000 along with other forms of relief deemed appropriate by the court.

Representing Brittany Eady are attorneys whose names were not disclosed in this document. The case is presided over by judges from the Southern District Court of New York under Case No. 25-cv-9683.
